„Die Vorstadtkrokodile“ ist ein Fernsehfilm von Wolfgang Becker aus dem Jahr 1977 nach dem gleichnamigen Kinderbuch von Max von der Grün. Der Film wurde erstmals am 25. Dezember 1977 gesendet. Zu den Kindern, die sich Krokodile nennen, gehören acht Jungen und ein Mädchen. Das ist Maria, Olafs Schwester, und da sind Olaf, Peter, Willi, Otto, Theo, Frank, Rudolf und Hannes. Später kommt noch Kurt dazu. Bis auf Kurt kennen sich alle schon vom Kindergarten her. Am liebsten spielen sie auf dem verlassenen Ziegelgelände, dessen Betreten verboten ist.
